WATER-BASED RESIN ADHESIVES Cattie Adhesive Solutions manufactures a full line of Water-Based White Resin glues.  Our water-based dispersion adhesives are used on a variety of porous and non-porous substrates including various Papers, Woods, Plastics, Corrugated material, Coated board and Vinyl. Our water-based adhesives are manufactured using EVA, PVA, Acrylic, Latex and other polymers and additives; which are then dispersed with water.   Water-based adhesive technology requires that the water be absorbed or evaporated in order for the adhesive bond to occur. The molecules of the adhesive, based on a variety of factors, such as viscosity and solids content, form a strong bond between the substrate materials. Our Water-based resin adhesives are: Medium to Fast setting Diluted by water, non-toxic, non-flammable Resistant to heat and moisture Extremely strong bond/tack DEXTRIN-BASED ADHESIVES Also known as "Brown" glues, dextrin-based adhesives are mixed with other additives and starches. The bond created here suits well to porous surfaces. Not as resistant to water as most water-based PVA resins; Dextrin-based adhesives have a Slower set time. They are a Lower cost alternative and clean up better than water-based resins.
